欧美自拍's remains committed to supporting the community and, as part of our annual Harvest activities, we once again asked our families for non-perishable donations to support We were overwhelmed by the response and would like to thank everyone who kindly brought in donations.
The Cambridge Food Bank will distribute our donations to voluntary and charitable groups throughout East Anglia.
We don't think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That's why our vision is a UK without the need for foodbanks. We meet the need for emergency and affordable food, and tackle the causes of poverty, by harnessing the power of the community. (The Cambridge Foodbank)
Members of our Charities Committee were on hand to stack and load the donations into crates. House Points were awarded to all winners and runners-up of the Senior House competitions and to those who brought in donations for the foodbank.
We also ran our much-loved Harvest Competitions at both Senior House and Byron House and the children were encouraged to enter into any of the following categories: art, photography, Lego and cookery (Senior House) and: vegetable classes, sunflowers, art, photography and Lego (Byron House).
It proved an incredibly tough job judging the entries! Senior House winners were presented with their certificates at Assembly and Byron House winners received theirs on the day of our Harvest celebrations.
I was so happy that my runner bean won the longest bean! All the entries were amazing, especially the creative Potato Heads!
