Stationery

Byron House

The School provides stationery for children at Byron House.

Senior House

If your child is in Form 3-6 we kindly ask you to supply stationery from home. The recommended list of required stationery, which should be brought to School in a named pencil case, is shown below:

  • Fountain pen & cartridges or Frixion gel pen
  • Pencils (4)
  • Coloured pencils (set of 12 colours)
  • Felt-tip pens (set of 12 colours)
  • Highlighter
  • Rubber
  • Sharpener
  • Ruler (length 30 cm)
  • Protractor (180° for Forms 3 & 4, 360° for Forms 5 & 6)
  • Pair of compasses
  • Scientific calculator (Forms 5 & 6 only) (a model such as Casio FX85GTPLUS-S-UH)
  • Glue stick
  • Pair of scissors
  • Small set of headphones (not wireless)

Please ensure that, where possible, items are named. As ever, we strongly suggest that your child does not bring to school any item of particular value.

Each classroom will have some stationery for those children who have not arrived at a lesson with the correct equipment. These items will need to be returned to the teacher at the end of the lesson.

Hymn Books and Bibles

Children at Senior House are issued with their own hymn book, the cost of which is charged to the termly account. The children are asked to take good care of their hymn books to see them through their time at Senior House. Any replacement books will be charged on the termly account.

Please note: Parents are charged for loss of or damage to books and equipment by their children.
